In vitro activity in the lab does not necessarily correlate with clinical activity vice versa. Antifungal are even more unique than antibacterial challenges with susceptibility testing and how you present the information to clinicians. A lot of these drugs and bug combinations don't have break points. And we know that we struggle even reporting out antibacterial MICs and susceptibility interpretations. Zantifungals adds a whole new layer of complications.
