Bannon's guest was Matthew Dalek, the author of a new book about how the John Birch Society radicalized the American right. Bannon held up the book and said to one of the founders of Moms for Liberty, he says, but come on, like they're calling you birchers. You're not a bircher. And her response was really interesting: We are our own unique group. Do some of our ideas resemble the birchers? Sure. Do we share a view of the Constitution?
