Death Is Everywhere and Not Here
i wrote this poem five years ago, amd. It began as two parts. The first part was written in the wake of a funeral of an uncle ad whom i just hadn't seen for a while. And so this is called, death is everywhere and not here. I too want space and time and second chances. But what did i do to day except watch a tall building burn? A boy who once called it home phones the b b c says, you know, at least 500 people live in there. I didn't see 500 people leave with a voice that implies this is a normal day for him. He doesn't sound like he's having any trouble saying 'I'm sorry'
