How to Negotiate a Job Offer
The first thing that we always say when a job offer comes in is, hey, thanks for the offer. If you don't mind, I'd like to take a day or two to think it over. And then the last thing is, would you mind sending me bullet point summary and email of the numbers that you said? So I make sure I don't mess them up because you're trying to avoid the very unlikely chance that they said numbers and you heard different numbers and everything just kind of goes sideways.
