Over Precision and Confirmation Bias

Over precision is when we think we understand the future more precisely than we do. Confirmation bias is this idea that we tend to seek information that confirms our prior beliefs. And if there's information that comes in that's a jump ball, it always goes in our favor. Phil Tullock: The sooner people start to practice these things, the sooner they can fend off over precision and confirmation bias.
