Is Climate Change a Failure of the Imagination?
Sally Kohn's latest book is all about the importance of imagination in tackling big problems that we're facing today. She spent a year and a half researching everything she could find speaking to everybody but I spoke to more than a hundred people when I was researching the book. You can only build something if you can imagine it first, says SallyKohn. The poet Wilker said the future must enter into you a long time before it happens. We have to paint pictures with words and with paint and with sound and find ways to unlock in people that deep longing for a different way of doing things. It's an ever kind of ongoing exploration that goes off in lots of different directions.
