The History of Warsaw
The old city of Warsaw was 85% destroyed by the Germans. But what the Poles did in the 50s, it's an amazing story. They got the old city's plans from the 16th century and they rebuilt it brick by brick by brick. It looks as if you were in a medieval city, but it was all built in the 1950s. The Soviet architecture is outrageous. If you ever see that Fritzlein movie Metropolis, right? Everything looks like a Soviet version of the Empire State.
