Is It a Rechargeable Button Battery?
SL: I also had a magic keyboard and I tried to pair it to my Mac mini and I couldn't. It wouldn't see it. So the battery died in this and this keyboard and I found a video online which explained this to me. John has a Logitech solar keyboard. He has since replaced and it's back up online and running. The interesting part came with the Apple magic keyboard, which is the one you were on even though you put the keyboard in pairing mode, you couldn't get your Mac in pairing mode.
