The Future of Quantum Computing
Quantum computing is still a prospective industry. It will be revolutionary whenever it comes, but it's going to take a long time from the first practical use to uses distributed across data centers and more broadly. The US government has been very good at funding basic research and funding prototyping - that's turning an idea into a test product. But if you want to become a tech tycoon, you've got to do it by accessing civilian markets. And there's no doubt that Government needs to be in industrial policy for quantum chip production.
