Glover Johns was a rifle pistol marksman, good across country. His father went to VMI class of 1908, but got kicked out for hell raising. In his first day as battalion commander, he loses two radio operators and three of his battalion staff battalion staff. He replaces this weak commander and it goes right into the hedgerow fighting - which bander brothers, if you know anything about D-Day, that hedgerowFighting was insane.
