Olamar has three ways to interact with pickmen. He can pluck or throw them, so he pluck them out of the ground. And they're also small, so he throws them. Your main action when you are not holding a pickman is to blow a whistle. That that calls the pickman into action. They'll take different actions depending on the situation. There's a lot that's context base in this game. I feel like you could probably map that outmaybe.
