The God of Spinoza
Will is a teleological entity that has activity in a teleological way. He doesn't want to call it God for various reasons. But I think in many other systems, the God is playing the same role. In the Barclays system, God is playing a role of grounding our representations. And the same thing in Spinoza. So it's this unitary metaphysical thing, temporal, outside of space and time. That was the thing I was trying to emphasize.
