The Neuromuscular Consequences of Running and Cycling

Even in a fresh state, we almost never see a voluntary activation of a hundred %. Even pre exercise, an you cant necessarily, the vast majority of participants won't be able to recruit their muscles completely. So there can be incomplete activation, even prior to exercise. And but when looking across the lictraton, making comparisons between studies, it seemed evident, or the hypothesis, was that running appears to have more of an impact on the nervous system relative to cycling. I e, reductions involveng tractivation were generally greater following running compared with cycling. Conversely, cycling appeared to affect the muscle to a greater extent relative to running.
