The Ritual of Parioses in Athens, Greece

Column is located in a restaurant area in the marioni neighborhood of Athens. It's one of those sober reminders that history often repeats itself. And then when the procession reached the final column, they basically slaughtered the two cows, dug a pit, buried the cows in the pit, buried all the objects in the vessels and covered it over.
