Machinic Unconscious Happy Hour
The Relation Between the Distinct and the Complementary in Philosophy and Mathematics
To divide two spaces is to cut out a figure, says Simone-Dome. But if you take the boundary as cutting out a figure,. then you immediately tip over into an algebraic frame of thinking and can do one of two things. You either cut the figure or you close the figure; it's almost as if from this kind of cosmological, cosmogonic instance, right? Begin things by drawing a distinction. From this, everything can be thought to emerge, right? And what I think brings that insight back to someone like Simone-D Dome is the part of the construction that can easily get lost of you - R2 in particular.
