The Importance of Authority

The work of redemption is the kind of reordering according to what we call the logos, which is reasonableness that things are intelligible. That's different than as he says here, power. Authority arises out of what he says, the primacy of being. If you think of things as they are, so God creates them as they are and our task is to live in accordance with the order of things.
