The Sub Atomic Particle That Starts Fires in Human Tissue
There is a theory proposed by larry arnold in his 19 95 book, ablaze, the mysterious fires spontaneous human combustion. He suggests that the fires are caused by an undiscovered sub atomic particle he calls a pyrotron. We've done a lot of research on sub atomic particles, and so far we haven't discovered anything like the pyrotrons. As a result, i don't think the sub atomic theory is likely at all. What about things that happen above the sub atomic levelr on the atomic or chemical level? Here we get into territory that is much more plausible - at least compared to undiscovered subatomic physics that start microscopic fires in human tissue.

Every so often, there are reports of people bursting into flames for no apparent reason, reducing most of their body to ashes, but with little or no fire damage around them. Jimmy Akin and Dom Bettinelli discuss what we should make of these reports of spontaneous human combustion and what could be causing them.
