Freud's Distinction Between Knowledge and Truth
LZ Granderson: I've always seen kind of a tension between Badu's understanding of knowledge and truth versus La Cons. He says that for Freud, the fact that the unconscious knows no law of contradiction is an epithenomenon or something called libido at the end of the day. LZ: But Descartes' distinction between knowledge and truth, that is to say, truth is God's business; it's only on this basis that modern science can be in its current form. "I'm opening a bit up here and taking too much for granted maybe," he writes.
