The Long-Term Objectives of the US

The Americans want Ukraine to come fully under American influence. In the long run, they would like Russia to be Balkanized. And they would like to regain the access to Russia that they had during the Boris Yeltsin era. The Russians would like to see what would the Russian long-term objective be.
