The Book of Jonah Is a Little Chiasmus
The book of Jonah is read on Yom Kippur, the day of atonement. It's this beautiful little four chapters that all fit into nice parallelisms. The Lord is trying to get the Assyrians to repent or else they'll be destroyed. And we know the outcome they do; it's a great story.
