Charles Hatfield and the Rainmakers

Charles Hatfield was one of the men who inspired the modern practice of cloud-seeding. His rain-enhancing tower and pans were erected south of a monument to him in San Diego. The principles of his ground-based chemical-seeding method is still being used today to produce snow for ski enthusiasts.
