Is There Beauty in Tragedy?
I was thinking about the first drawing itself. It could be circled back to it. And I'm thinking of expanding that thought that a drawing is naturally always bringing out the beauty in whatever it is that we see. That thing that we see could be something quite unpleasant or could be something associated with unpleasant ideas in our mind, but simply the act of drawing brings something some kind of appreciation about it. There can be great beauty in tragedy. But there's another thing that's more boring than drawing like a brand new glass skyscraper with straight lines right? There's nothing more boring than Drawing a supermodel who's been heavily airbrushed and photoshopped into this perfect pose.
