Life insurance companies cherry pick data to make it look like the policy is doing well, but in reality they're just trying to collect high fees. "There's all sorts of like, deceptive marketing that they do to make it looks good," says Tanais. The best way to keep your life insurance and investment separate is to stay away from them at all costs.
