The Importance of Breadth in Learning
We're changing now from becoming a deep expert in one field to really trying to get a sense of the guiding currents across all of these things. I think you can be an expert in one thing, but it's important to have a real breadth across this. The most successful people around me are the people who can think about their thinking. They have the ability to reprogram themselves. And my feeling is that by interacting with a machine that keeps improving, keeps getting smarter, will be the great 21st century skill.
