The Sanctuary

There was a couple of guitar amp speakers there that we could use and the vocals would come out of that. A lot of it had to do too, which is playing at a volume that everybody could hear one another distinctly. If you were playing too loud, everybody would look at you like you're playing too loud and you would adjust. Because of the setup and because of all the cement in the basement and everything, and the furnace and everything, it was all these hard surfaces. We learned to adjust to that, and it helped develop and make for a particular sound that was our new sound. this was the sanctuary. This was the place that we were going to be making, the music
