What Is the Threshold?
In verse seven, it is described as a sort of cultic occasion with guests being summoned. Who are the guests and what is the sacrificial victim? The nations are coming to feast on the flesh of the wicked nation of judah at this time of judgment. A common problem throughout the history of israel and judah was their adoption of the ways of the foreign nations.
