A hundred years ago this year, f w merne's nosphorato really kicked it all offri. It was an unofficial adaptation of bramstokers dracular - or so unofficial. Tha e florence stoker, bram's widow, decreed that all prints should be destroyed because they hadn't asked for permission to adapt it. Thank god one print apparently survived and is where we've got the stuff from at the moment. Still one of the very best betrayals of dra a, i think, still absolutely terrifying to this day.
