The Coming of Jesus

Nathan and Anne's dad accidentally gave them gifts from the Prince of Darkness on Christmas morning. Nathan thought it was pretty funny as a fifth grader, but their father wouldn't stop talking about it for years. The story represents this thing that all of us at some level experience at Christmas time: A gap between our dreams and fantasies of what Christmas is supposed to be like and what it's actually like for a lot of us.
