"I'm just always wanting to know what the average person is thinking and why they're doing what they're doing," he says. "i've constantly tried to get my students to watch non-hollywood films and films with uh non-white people and films not made in the united states or even europe" He adds that there's still a couple hundred million people who are interested in these kinds of things, but it will take some time for them to change their minds.
