Apocalypse Now was supposed to be directed by George Lucas, who couldn't get the project kind of going and went off to make Star Wars. Francis for Coppola tries to make this movie has the hardest time so much so that there's a story that he threw his five Oscars out of a window. "I think when you think about Francis in this time and when you hear him talk about this movie, this is the filmmaker that everyone parodies," she said.
