The Double Meaning of Performance
I think the projects are less concerned with that pristineness or the tortoneness that you might have talked about. I'm more interested in the registrations of time, entropy, use, misuse and once we throw the keys to the client, on a completion of the building,. it's a framework for lots of experiences that we might have predicted but might not have predicted. Some of the projects are these scenic e-decules of the city like the filling station - this space that turns its back on a certain aspect of the city to reveal a new and forgotten part of the city. These creative interpretive readings of the wider world is more interesting than architecture that makes an instructive way
