Thousands of children in the DC area had blood lead levels above the CDC threshold, all living with the long term effects. It is estimated that as many as 2000 children were miscarried because of it. Yet there have been no apologies, no accountability by anyone. A single government official was fired or demoted or punished other than the ones that tried to blow the whistle.
