The Green Man's Embarrassment
Christine was in constant pain after the green man kissed her. Her face and head throbbed for the past two months. She knew that something terrible was about to happen. Spiders, spiders everywhere. At first it was the cows grazing. Then the cows the farmers kept in the barns,. then the horses and sheep. Up until that point, christine had been cassandra crying in vain. But hen they stopped, she experienced her first moment without pain since the first baptism. It was a plague. The devil would get tired. How long could he possibly try keep going after a soul? He's the devil. What else does he have going on?
