I think that's because there is a wing of the progressive movement that's all about control and basically government surveillance. And it's not a huge leap of the imagination to see how this can go sideways. The authorities looked at crypto as a threat to their ability to run roughshod over civil liberties. I think we don't have a great narrative around well, it's a parallel financial system just in case everything that you leadership in the Western democracies are doing completely ruin the economy.
