The Dualist View of Consciousness

I would argue that this is a core, a philosophical problem. We need to work out how consciousness and the physical world connect up. All of these theories are empirically equivalent in the sense that you couldn't decide between them with an experiment. In terms of materialism, as I say, we've got absolutely nowhere. But in terms of the panpsychist approach of putting consciousness first and then making sense of the physical world emerging from underlying facts about consciousness, our mystery is solved.
