IoT is the convergence of industrial, machine-to-machine engineering and data center management. John Sutter got his start at APC in 95 as a software architect for their infrastructure business line. He was part of team that re-architected product using Java to make it run on any platform. Now he's working with big tech companies such as Netflix who are all powered by Java.
