Keeping the Complexity of Your Stack to an Absolute Minimum
I think velocity above anything else is the most important thing as an indie developer. I'm still hosted on Heroku, which a lot of people would kind of roll their eyes at or something because it doesn't allow me to leverage all of the aspects of what Elixir has to offer in the Erling VM. The choice for Heroku was pretty easy for me because one, I've deployed apps to it for years and years. They're battle-hardened. So I felt like it was going to be the least amount of ceremony to just get it on this platform. That's a tried and true thing.
