Is There a Need for Generalists?
Marketing has to come from a deep, curious curiosity and a deep understanding of consumers. You don't need ten thousand hours to master something at an expert level. With 20 hours of dedicated, deep learning, you can master something sufficiently. I think it is much more these days around aploiability and gaining experiences which are valuable to yourself and tand to organizations.
