The unitarian universalists are based on the humanist perspective, and their very science based. The uu church is all about this, like giving us the real deal, letting us make choices. And so if you're interested in participating, you cand contact your local congregation and see if they have some openings orb plans of this. In middle school, there's a switch from aligning yourself with parents to seeking authority rather than just conventional wisdom. It's not so much emotional, it's not so embarrassable.
