The Heterogeneity of Parkinson's Disease Patients

There were about 1100 participants in ppli who gave spinal fluid samples for this study and the largest group was people with sporadic Parkinson's disease or Parkinson's disease patients who did carry a genetic variant. There were two control groups there were the healthy controls who were not known to have any neurological disorder or symptoms they were agents ex-matched with Parkinson patients. So,called sweds which were individuals who had clinical features that resemble Parkinson's disease at time of enrollment were found to have normal dopamine transporter imaging but therefore excluded from PPA cohort.
