The Influence of Christianity on Sexual Conservatism in the United States
In 2003, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a law that criminalized homosexual behavior. The president of Uganda is now calling for similar legislation in his country. Peter Bergen: It would come as a great shock to many Americans who think such laws are ridiculous today. He says Africa has its own way when it comes to this kind of Western pressure on gays and lesbians.
