A team of scientists from microsoft and the university of washington seattle have developed a nano scale dna storage writer. This technology can store over 60 petabites per cubic centimeter. The data is incoded in sequence using the four natural d and a bases, ray, a, c, t and g. But there is no petabite for a consumer.
