I think it is necessary to take into account the global projects that oppose global liberalism. There should be a nother kind of philosophical supremacis in the world, calling for a return to study of political platonism. Alexander dugan and strauss share many parallels when it comes to the analysis of the importance of pre modern political philosophy. That's a piece of the puzzle that, in my view, is not very well represented by the existing east coast rocians who come a can say anything about the others.
