The Limits of Parazia
The word parazia and parazia sometimes translated as Frank speech or fearless speech is precisely this mode of speaking truth to power. Parazia was actually one of two kinds of freedom of speech that was protected by the constitution of ancient Athens. The translation of it as free speech is potentially somewhat misleading given the baggage with which the term free speech comes in the context of the US at least.
