The King Says, How Many Times Shall I Make You Swear That You Speak to Me?

The king of Israel is upset when a prophet tells him that he will be killed. He says, how many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me? Nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord. In other words, I don't believe a word you just said. So why don't you tell me what you really think? And he goes on to say, well, all right, here's what I saw. All Israel scattered on the mountains as sheep that have no shepherd. Let each return to his home in peace.
