I think we just want to mute all the negative emotions when you are trying to tell us something, yes. And yet we do. I'm glad you're brought up a being uncomfortable because repressing them or hiding them is equivalent to having a chronic pain in your knee. There's a reason you're feeling the pain. Taking the pain away is not the solution. So taking away your n er, repressing it, or trying to eliminate it isn't the right solution. Figuring out what is triggering the anger and why, and whether or not it's appropriate or inappropriate, is the way to become more aware and at peace with the process.
