Astrophysics Is Not Going to See a Tripling of Its Budget Any Time Soon
The decato survey, this dacato survey, it's a science document, right? The way we deal with this is by focusing on those science goals all the time. I think roman's going to be occupying giv or take, about half a billion dollars a year for the next four years. This isn't just tech development for its own sake. This is really on ramping to this next step astronomy. And i worry that ten years of technology development without a coherent mission in, is somewhat of a political risk.
