During the latter part of her life, acting styles had really moved on. The reviews of her work were not as glorious as they once were. Her reputation maybe was greater than her talent at this point. She was an icon, though she was a symbol, and she was definitely a star. But it was kidney trouble that made it impossible for her to continue her work.
