Season one, sacred rhythms of the life we leader with ruth barton and steve ween. Technology has really challenged us as it has to do with solitude and silence. When i first started leading retreats, there were no phones in the room. So i had to think about a practice of everybody putting away their cell phone while people were on retreat. We're coming home to ourselves in god's presence. And our phones just take us out of presence to the one who is always present with us.
