Objective Consequentialism Presupposes a Bizarre Metaphysics

Our moral theory is this combination of consequentialism plus expected value, plus some view on how people ought to form views about what things will happen. So an unpleasant consequence of this is that if we identify problems with subjective opinion forming or how we aggregate them to expected value or so on, this is all really deep in the moral theory. And so it's going to create a problem for the subjective utilitarianism as well.
